Chloe Murray

Hi! I’m an artist in Milwaukee but originally from Frankfort, Illinois. I’m currently majoring in Illustration at the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design. I like to make character focused illustrations as well as horror comics and other comics representing silly situations I’ve been in. I mainly work digitally, but I also really enjoy linocut and screenprinting.

I am inspired by 2000s cartoons such as Invader Zim, Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends and Code Name: Kids Next Door, lots of different online artists, such as Janie Lee, Serpyra and Xamag and musicians like Nelward, Dance with the Dead, Tardigrade Inferno and Priest. I also really am inspired by found footage horror. Some of my other hobbies include playing the cello, walking, video games, listening to music and baking.
